After the launch of Japan PS3 on 11th of Nov. the dispersion of console has started declining. Within two day the total no of consoles sold-out were 88,400 out of 100,000 shipped. In caparison to newly launched PS3, Xnbox360 console is still selling like a hot cake. Japan PS3 launch has influenced the sale of Xbox 360 with nil effect.

The Newsweek shares few reports telling why Sony could not create immense vacuum for its next-gen console. The article explains Microsoft had a targeted aim of 10 million Xbox 360s transaction before PS3 launch. However MS could not reach the predetermined objective and extended it to until end of the year.
The report says that Sony's ineffective dispersion is due to its major focus on Japan that brought a sidetracking tendency to the developer towards its PAL and US fanboys. Also Microsoft kept its follow-up to third party developers like Ubisoft.
During the preannouncement Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft wanted to deploy this one to PS3 but Sony failed to attract the attention of Sony before PS3's launch in Japan.
Now the third contender (Wii) has stepped into gaming world and the circumstances are growing worse for all the gaming console developers.
