After an array of firmware updates, here comes new PS3 firmware update named v1.92 from Sony. The electronics giant has described it as a minor update as it focuses on some PS3 compatibility and playability issues for select titles. A search site for looking up compatible titles is also in the works.
It is merely a month ago when the PS3 received firmware update 1.90 and Sony has appeared with another system update that will add tons of new change after the system boots new installment from the PlayStation official site.
Here is what the new system software update includes:
Playability
• Playability status with the PS3 system has changed for some PS3 format titles
• This does not affect titles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.
Since Sony, hasn’t named select titles, hopefully, these titles are no other than Warhawk and Lair.
Moreover, the latest system update includes all features contained in previous versions and will preserve any settings previously made to the PS3.
P.s: Use only official update data provided by Sony Computer Entertainment over a network or on disc media, and do not perform updates by methods other than those described in the product documentation or in this site. Update performed by means of data from another source,/another method/with a PS3 system that has been altered or modified in any way, the PS3 system may not operate properly and may not be able to install the official update data.
