Koei's Fatal Intertia couldn't modernize racing on the Xbox 360 and was treated as pretty second-rate. So, KOEI have made public the particulars of their new innovative racing-with-weapons - Fatal Inertia EX - for the PLAYSTATION Network. This is a fresh version of the gravely berated Xbox LIVE game Fatal Inertia. Getting lessons from the previous criticism, certain modifications make it an improved product.

Reframed Fatal Inertia EX, the game attaches eight new training tracks to alleviate the deep learning curve. Koei has also rephrased the flight controls for a more receptive feel that allows for faster game play. Also, the game will shore up the DualShock 3 from the start, with optional support for Sixaxis control. On top of it all, the game will run in 720p and support Dolby Digital. The downloadable releases, coming in late May for $29.99, could be a low-cost delight.
