I have seen this done before, but not this well done. These guys have really done a good job with the hardware mods. The only things that, obviously, sticks out is the plug-in where the controller plugs into the PSP.
This is truly a great use of time and hardware. I like to use controllers much more than I like to use the hand held “controller/consoles”. I know you all love my technical term for it but to be frank, the PSP and DS are just too small. I need something to hold onto and look at rather than hold the thing I’m looking at. I’m just too used to the old PS and old Nintendos.
Anyway, Kudos to Blizzrad, part of the Acidmods team for making this improvement and better improving my life. Isn’t it great how far designers have come from the old days of Mario and Pong? It’s just cool, but useful modification to the PSP. For the future, it would be cool if you could plug two controllers in and play multiplayer that way. Watch the video after the jump.
