April Fool;s day is over and I am confused whether it’s a rumor or a reality. PSP Core Pack selling for $169.99 at GameStop/EB that actually costs $199.99.
It was sure that the something was predictable for Sony’s portable platform PSP i.e. the redesign was underway but this is the thing that was unexpected, in my opinion.
PSP Core Pack goes on sale today for $169.99 that is $30 less than its actual retail price.
Sony’s handheld platform comes with only an AC adapter and battery. Sony’s elegant handheld got a fake price drop when the Core Pack was introduced at $199.99 last year, but this marks the first substantial price adjustment for North American gamers.
I think, an unexpected price drop to the PSP console is due to the demands of price drop raised by US retailers, last month. The retailers were going to pull the handhelds from stores shelves if there wasn’t any price drop. Whatever, it’s a time to cheer for the PSP fanboys.
