I know it’s a short a notice, but you have to cough up some 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99 on PlayStation Network) from somewhere today. April 7 is the lucky day when all you bastards get to enrich the gameplay on Resident Evil 5 (as in too much is not enough!). Capcom has been quick in making good its promise of DLC and is releasing Resident Evil 5 Versus Mode tomorrow. Versus mode will introduce two new gameplay types in RE5: Slayer’s Rule and Survivor’s Rule. In Slayer’s Rule players compete for the largest stack of points by shooting some Majinis, in a specified time limit of course. Survivor’s Rule, in contrast, pits players in deathmatch-type situation - one-on-one or two-on-two. In essence, therefore, if you’ve played side by side till now, go all out for each other’s throat. And yes this DLC seems awfully close to game’s actual release. Capcom could have included this thing on the disk itself. But we’ve already been over that. Let’s not ruin this!
