After a long procession of complaints about defective guitars from customers received with their copies of Xbox360’s Guitar Hero II, the publisher Red Octane has officially responded to the complaints on its official site saying that they have cut off the issue to two model numbers found on the guitar’s packaging.
These numbers are 95065 and 95055. Rectifying the flaw, the publisher says that the owners who have purchased the flawed pack can exchange with the perfect one.
Here is the apology letter that Red Octane has on its official site and recommends few steps that are listed below:
• Turn off the power to your game console
• Make sure the whammy bar is moved away from the body of the guitar and not depressed
• Make sure the guitar is securely connected to your console
• Then turn the console’s power back on
• Load the Guitar Hero II game and begin playing
