Back in November, it was a job posting that educated about a Red Steel sequel underway, while another suggested Red Steel 2 will be supporting online functionality.
Now once again, I can hear the whispering voice of Ubisoft that seems to confirm the existence of Red Steel II that it had hinted at, earlier. A French site claims that Ubisoft’s Red Steel II is on the way. In accordance with the site, they have justified that soon you will be seeing the Red Steel sequel that’s completely a Wii-make of sword system.
Currently, the game is alleged in development stage and will be released sometime next year with a lot of new features.
As, a earlier rumor managed to claim an online support for the sequel, but this time there is not even a morsel that talks about online support.
However, the original title was not good enough to play, but still managed to sell around 1 million copies worldwide, and now if the rumor turns out to be true, we have to see whether the sequel succeeds in holding up its previous fan-base or not.
There’s an official announcement yet on the part of Ubisoft, but there should be more details rolling out soon. Stay tuned...
