With IGN taking a look further inside of Resident Evil 5 during Capcom’s ‘08 Gamers’ Day, it proves to be an exciting day. With the main character, Chris Redfield, going to a new area on the globe, Africa, we are introduced to a few new characters and detail.
RE5 is set to be one of the best games of the year. With the release coming in early 2009, we will all be in for a ride when we sit down and play it for the first time. With it’s new features, amazing graphics, and smart AI, RE5 is going to be one of the best gaming has to offer.
Throughout the demo, the environmental factor which they promised seemed to be of little help, though they still standby the fact that it will be a big component in the future. For example, you will be able to set traps in areas, so when monsters come walkin’ on through, they are snared, blown, or silenced.
The new characters are something we have yet to really meet other than a fierce new monster to fight. He’s a man wielding a deadly axe that has no care for his safety as long as he gets you. Also, a trailer that they are set to release is going to feature another character who is female and no one is sure whether it is going to be a playable human character or an AI. Whatever the case may be, we are hoping that this character will bring in a new part of RE that has yet to be seen.
