Retailer offering 80 GBP off at Premium Xbox360 console

Cost uncertainty is coming out as a grave issue in Europe, as few weeks ago, a PS3 cost uncertainty was an issue that raised its head in the region and now it's the turn of Xbox360.

Microsoft's Xbox360 console is still selling like hot piece of cake but even then the wholesale chain Makro is selling the Premium package at GBP 199.99, which is roughly equivalent to $388 in US dollar i.e. the retailer is offering a heft wave-off of 80 GBP ($156 USD) on each Premium system. But the thing that is spoiling my stomach is Xbox360's cost in other regions of Britain, where the same Premium pack is selling for GBP 279.99. (Gamesindustry.biz)

If we translate the GBP into US dollar then presently a Premium Xbox360 costs around $388 that is even 11$ less than its price in US where it is selling for US$399.99.

What a heck? I am not able to understand the clutter, what I know is the fluctuating stock market and rapidly variation in currency is responsible for whole price uncertainty.

Anyway, a high time for the buyers who haven't scored an Xbox360 because the offer will last for two weeks.
