Like endless convoy of Nazi soldiers, WWII thematic shooter games will never chock their excursion on game consoles. Activision added another gem to the garland of the war FPS game named Call of Duty 3, in order to acquire some laurels for six various including Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony's next-gen concept; Xbox360, Wii and PS3 respectively.

What made gamers frustrate is some ill ingame control and some poorly designed stuff; however, the sound effects are pretty nice.

Game Plot:

Unlike COD2 that includes three separate campaigns in wildly diverse environments, COD3 with some single play stuff offers a much more organized storyline while sticking to the single phase of the war.

The gameplay has been set in time when the Allied armies overcame the Germans in France and, eventually, liberated Paris before stepping towards east. You play as soldiers in the American, British, Canadian, and Polish armies, though the differences between each come down to just two things: Different weapons choices and a few pointless sub-plots in which various Allied characters basically express their dislike for each other during cut-scenes.

Gameplay:

Fortunately, the gameplay itself is an excellent experience and no doubt does a much better job than its predecessor.

There are a few new specs included to the gameplay that are present in COD2. German soldiers were able to pick up grenades and toss them back at you. But in COD 3 you can make the use of X button carved on the Xbox360 controller that lets you pick up the pelted grenade and toss it back on the enemy in a manner that you had one.

The most that you can enjoy the gameplay is with Wii-mote that with motion sensitivity offers you more liberty to execute more barbaric attacks on your foe.

Throwing or tossing grenades or taking a close aim at the enemies is the gunplay that you can enjoy more on Wii as compared to two other consoles.

Pros:

Graphics: Excellent

Sound Effects: Superb

Single as well as Multiplayer Capability

Unmatched immersive Storyline

Cons:

Ingame Controls: Poor

Level design: A bit arbitrary

Included Map pack: Unsupportive

ESRB Rating: T

Bottom-line:

However, the game contains some ingame flaws as mentioned above like ill controls at some time and jagged design but the games have turned our whole speculations wrong as the game has been played at a lot. The content that keeps the gamers come back on the game is the verity of weapons and vehicles.
