REVIEW: GRAW 2

Yashpal SharmaMar 12 2007

Before this, I believed that the Gears Of War was the Epc's best TPS game that none could compete in its graphics quality, but I think it was my misconception. My delusion breathed last as I got my hands on Ubisoft Paris' pious creation Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Of course! Ubisoft deserves it all because his is the most impressive war game at the moment.

Game-Plot:

The game takes place in the year 2014 just south of the US frontier and an infliction in growing turmoil in that region is the basis of the game that gives birth to the rage splattered all around.

The gun downing procession begins in the urban part of Mexico City in order to destroy a dam.

Gameplay:

GRAW 2 starts off where GRAW 1 ended. You, playing as Scott Mitchell near Mexican border (Texas) escort your Ghosts within a restricted time period of 72 hours to stop the immediate terrorist threat. Sometimes, you have to fight three Ghost team members each with a liberty of selection.

Player goes on fighting Mexican terrorists and mercenaries in the day and night, in rain and in storm that is mountainous effort of player against rebels who have throne the nation into the hands of Civil War. While playing GRAW2, you not only control three other Ghost members (who now consist of a team medic) but M1 Abrams tanks, fast-track armored personnel carriers (APCs), unmanned scouting drones, fighter aircraft support, and even armed force of Mexican government.

After going through the game, you will come across minute modifications obliged to GRAW 1. On the other hand, multiplayer mode is quite phenomenal with some greater number of maps and customization options make this a quite exhilarating experience in association with Xbox Live and good Xbox360 controller support adds another feather to the excellence of game.

Price: $59.99

Pros:

Graphics: Luring and enhanced as compared to GRAW 1

Audio: Throbbing sound intensity

Good controller support

Healthy multiplayer support

Cons:

All familiar game design

A bit carbon copy of prior title

Bottom-Line:

However, the game appeared as a diminutive replica of GRAW 1 but the single, multiplayer modes and tempting graphics displayed during quaking explosions, clouds of smoke soaring in air contributes a lot to the overall appeal of the game. I won't feel low calling it a distinctive tote up to GRAW series (even after having lots of familiar design).
