Shadowrun is the game about which I do know the least, but FASA made it highly proverbial title and offers you a chance to explore the Shadowrun universe. The game developer has developed the game for Xbox360 and PC platform.

Shadowrun is the game loosely based on a pen and paper RPG from the late 80’s and the first title ever that allows both Xbox360 as well as PC (Vista) gamers to play against or with each other. The game is the most commanding, perfectly balanced, and complex online team shooters in the modern era. The strength of the game is online play. At very initial stage, the game appears like a viable FPS with a team focus, executing some perfect counterstrikes. Moreover, there are three game types, two capture-the-flag variations and one team deathmatch mode, accompanied with nine different maps, plus three smaller variations for the deathmatch mode.

Game Plot:
The game contains the two rival factions; one is RNA Global, a large corporation and the other one Lineage, a rebel group, combating for the control of magic. The big bad corporation wants to control magic and the underdog Lineage wants everyone to have access to it.
All of a sudden, magic makes its come back sometime in December, 2011. RNA sends a research team to Santos (Brazil) so as to research the strange energies coming from a mountainside along one edge of Santos. While exploring the Ziggurat, the team causes a mysterious mishap, resulting in the demolition of half of the city and revealing the Ziggurat to all.

After some time, RNA returns to the region (armed with government contract), but the local inhabitants revolt their move and start protesting so as to obstruct their mission, midway. The revolt turns into a conflict and slowly the little conflict takes the shape of brutal war.
Gameplay:
The game takes place in year 2031. The lace is Santos, Brazil where RNA is trying to control the use of magic for economic means, whereas a group calling themselves the Lineage is determined to keep the magic free for the masses. In the middle of all of this is an "artifact" that is the key to why it's so important.
However, the game contains no background; even then the game looks pretty intriguing. The game play uses a unique blend of varying character-types, magic, and technology. Unlike Halo, where you play a game and then move to another level, the Shadowrun online games is played in rounds, in which (if) the first team gets 7 wins, is declared the winner. In between rounds players can buy new weapons, tech or magic powers. The game indeed gives you a chance to get specialized in online games.

Although the game you play in Shadowrun is literally a standard FPS genre, but still there are some elements that make the play more appealing. The first of these is the use of multiple races, in which, the player heads forward with using a variety of strengths and weaknesses. The Elves are fast and have the power of health revival, while the Dwarves can draw off the most significant magic power from their enemies when hanging around. The game gives you a chance to find a race and a technique, in accordance with your taste, more than that, knowing the potential of races is another cool factor of the game.
However, the new age FPS finds pretty good compatibility with both the platforms, but still the game has some flaws that lessen the charm of the game.
Price: $49.99 - $59.99
ESRB Rating: M
Pros:
• Nice looking visual effects/graphics
• Good enough balance scheme
• Inclusion of Bots
• Entertaining online play
Cons:
• Lack of variety content
• Limited Tech/Magic
• No offline multiplayer
• Outsized Maps
• Poor animation
• Long loading time
• A bit hefty price
Bottom-line:
However, Shadowrun provides a new multiplayer shooting experience, the game is perfectly balanced. As mentioned above, the game has the property to bring together, two distinct platform players. However, the game comes with wide opportunity to create a monster that fights to the death for you.
I would suggest you not to buy the game if you have a killing instinct for FPS, because the game is not meant for you. No doubt the game is highly potent; to make it perfect on all sides, FASA needs to fix some glitches that fall midway.
