Virtua Fighter 4 was the game that was believed to be the technical best versus fighting game ever, but as Virtua Fighter 5 has made its debut, Virtua Fighter 4 has gone in inferiority complex stage. New and enhanced title means sweating effort of months in developing a single new and enhanced character with some new combat features to fight better and longer your rival.

Game-Plot:

The game starts with a collection of best ever fighters from all around the world. Finally, 17 fighters are short-listed and invited for the single combat realm. The polished skills of all the fighters from previous clashes have improved their fighting skills as they show a great coordination in their mind, body, and soul that you can interpret from their wise moves.

Gameplay:

If we have a keen eye at Virtua Fighter 5 gameplay, it appears much like Virtua Fighter 4 in combos and attacks. Limited three button controls for Punch, Kick and Block makes the game a bit monotonous but if have the capability to make combination of the buttons along with the d-pad, it proves a lethal assault to the enemy.

The wide range of fighters (17) offers you to pick the one who is your favorite to take out your enemy.

A recall to Arcade VF5:

VF5 was launched on Arcade arena in July, 2006 and cuddles some sweet memories. However, the game is not a big different deal; the game appears almost same like other arcade fighter games. The game is a single-player venture in case of arcade that will make your gaming sphere a bit contracted.

PS3 Gameplay Fantasy:

Whenever, we talk about PS3 game the very first thing that comes to mind is high resolution graphics and in case of VF5, it proves its worth.

Shadows, lighting, and skin texture are three things seems to be a tuff game for improvisation but have made more realistic in this game.

In the game, there are priests sweeping the ground while you fight in the Kyoto-based Shrine stage, and a gathering of locals can been seen who have come just to see your continuous knock-out punches and beautiful locations developed simply make you say WOW!

Price: $59.95

Pros:

The best Fighting game ever

Graphics: Excellent

Perfect Response

Distinctive stage design

Cons:

No multiplayer capability in Arcade version

Not a suitable game to play with Sixaxis

Game content quite similar to VF4

Bottom-line:

Virtua Fighter 5 is an incredibly fun, must-have sequel to VF 4 that has been designed for each and every fan of the series. However, the single-player options are limited, but the two-player combats are immense. It's a deep beautiful fighter genre set for Arcade, PS3 (Xbox360 as well) that tries to fill the void created midway by lack of online support.
