Ladies and gentlemen! Here we come today with a tag-team match between Batista, Triple H and Randy Orton and Edge and match referee thumping the ring One......Two......Threeee......and declares one team as winner with raising winner's arm high. I know that you are closely familiar with such announcements made by WWE's Chairman Vince McMahon or any other. The indoor ring is full of fans hooting in their player's favor.

Until now, the wrestling fantasy was restricted up to your TVs but some developers get it into the videogaming arena to make you smack down your rival who smashed your beloved player and snatched the title away.

Yuke's Future Media Creators have created the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 for PS2, PSP and Xbox360 ; a professional wrestling videogame. The game is a sequel of WWE SmackDown series and the successor to WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006.

Gameplay:
Yuke has done a perfect effort to bring a more realistic fighting experience with a new game with old analog control wrestling system. The new game contains a bit more rapacious wrestling in which the player has a flexibility to throw his opponent anywhere they want.

The game controls are much like previous game. The player can move around the ring to by analog control instead of using the D-pad which appears pretty monotonous.
The wrestlers keep on hitting the their rivals to inside or outside the ring and sometimes as in real WWE show, grappler takes his opponent out of the ring and smack him with ring stepladder or iron pole to make him bleed.
The screaming sounds coming out of victim's or fans' mouth makes the game more fun.

The Category 1 and Category 2 movesets are determined by your weight-class now, so lighter wrestlers have access to martial arts or lucadore move-sets, while heavier wrestlers have access to more power moves. In addition, a wrestler can only lift up or hurt with certain strikes, wrestlers one weight class heavier than them or less.
The animation has been enhanced by a great deal this time. The liveliness sprouts out of character's face and bleeding head or sweating body makes the game more realistic.
The graphic, especially in case of Xbox360 have more pragmatic appeal and rumbling sound tracks make the wrestling arena nastier.
Price:
PS2, PSP: $49.99
Xbox360: $59.99
ESRB Rating: T
Pros:
New controls are great for beginners as well as expert players
Graphics: Honestly good
Audio: No doubt, stimulating
Customization options
Cons:
Obtuse load times
Some displaced momentum
Roster fairly outdated
Bottom-line:
Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 is the all about fighting spree that manages to provide some excellent wrestling action thrill that has quite a bit of variety. The polished graphics help offer Xbox360 owners something must-have.
The spectacular overhaul and remapped control system makes it a perfect one in the series. Last year's release made a lot of fans disappointed but 2007 version has fueled a new life in PRIOR version.
