The makers of Rock Band 2 said that they will be releasing their game in September, a good decision on their part. With the game coming out months ahead of the new Guitar Hero, they will have a jump at the market and a chance to improve and begin work on a new game before Activision. Rock Band 2 will be available only for the Xbox, but they plan to release it across all consoles by the end of the year. The new Rock Band will have more songs and instruments available to play. More details are planned to be released at the E3 video game conference in Los Angeles, July 14-17. Rock Band’s competitor, Guitar Hero, is planned for release this Christmas with a drum set and a microphone as well as the classic guitar controller. I can’t wait to find out more details on the Rock Band and what else they have in store for us. Oh, and by the way, Rock Band’s music downloads will be compatible with Rock Band 2 which is a huge plus!
