Rockstar’s ‘Table Tennis’ is no more an Xbox360 exclusive. The developer has announced that their sports genre ‘Table Tennis’ will also be coming to the Wii later this year. Rockstar Leeds will handle the development work in assistance with the original developers Rockstar San Diego. The game will bring the same engine in use i.e. RAGE that has also been used in GTA IV.
Graphics-wise, however, the game won’t receive any upgrade (because the Wii contains no HD-graphics), but will bring Wii-mote’s motion-sensing feature in use to make it more lively - especially while making some backhand or forehand shots. However, Xbox360 version of the game also plays well, but due to lack of motion-sensing feature in its controller and less freedom, the gameplay becomes a bit monotonous after some longish gaming sessions.
The title with a beautiful design and new portal will appeal to an entirely new audience base across the world and earn some monumental laurels for both - game as well as the developer.

The upcoming Olympic Games ‘08 would considerably affect the sales of the game and could turn out to be a smart move for Rockstar.
Look for Wii edition of Table Tennis this September.
