Reports pertaining to the rumble controls have caught fire again as 1UP’s lead Sony fanboy, Shane claims that SIXAXIS’s rumble control announcement will rattle this year TGS when one of Sony’s representatives will confirm DualShock 3 for the PS3. Although, reports are thick on the ground, still lack an authenticity.
Shan over at 1UP Yours podcast forecasts that after a long spell of anticipation, TGS 07 will ultimately reveal the much-anticipated rumble control for the PS3 controllers.
If you remember, months ago a similar rumor aired which alleged that an official announcement will come at this year’s TGS in September; hence the latest one should be called a reminder and taken with a pinch of salt.
It’ll be interesting to see how the new rumble-capable controller will play with the games like MotorStorm, Need for Speed: Carbon, etc. Whatever, I am sitting with my fingers crossed and waiting for this Thursday when Kaz Hirai would talk some rumble issue in his keynote in Tokyo, hope Sony would do justice with all PS3 loyalists.
