The first stand alone expansion entitled Campaign 2: Factions was roaring success. The North African theme also has done pretty well. What next? The rumor says the next title, that is campaign 3 will be called, Nightfall.

ArenaNet cofounder Jeff Strain while speaking in a podcast said that the company has decided to release a new stand-alone expansion in every 6 months. It seems pretty fast and will definitely question the content quality as well as the quality of the game. However, ArenaNet has a whole group of dedicated developers, content writers and analysts, quality assurance team for its each campaign or chapter. So, a bi-yearly release target does not seem to impossible and surely will give each campaign a year or a year and a half of development. It sounds quite reasonable.
