Columbine school shooting episode is an unforgettable stroke executed by two accomplices Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killing 13 people in April 1999 in Denver. That has become a healthy source of inspiration for the teenagers across the globe. The most recent examples are The Foss High School shooting and Germany massacre killing 32 students at school campus. Slamdance Guerilla Gamemaker Competition is going through similar kind of conflicts but depiction of these massacres in video games. The reproduction of such atrocity is Super Columbine Massacre RPG that has been pulled from the competition.

Firstly, the game had been announced as a finalist in late November 2006, but due to controversial stuff the game has been dropped from the competition. This is very first time that the competition has dropped any gaming title from the final list.

However, the game developer is strongly urging to the festival organizers to put back the game in the festival but the Festival organizers fear that the game will spark violence as it contains the gameplay in which you take on the character of Harris and Klebold and execute the killing in the same way as they had performed it years ago hurting the feelings of victimized parents as well as legitimacy of game.

The game has rightly been fired from the competition as there were wide chances that the game could provoke the violence. However, the games provoke the violence not at all but in this case there are emotions attached to the game content that could touch the individual sentiments.
