PlatinumGames is in Sega’s corner. Their partnership is up and running. The latest announcement from their camp is regarding publishing of three new titles. Madworld, Infinite Line and Bayonetta are all under development and would soon be published. There’s also a fourth, yet-to-be-named, title in the beckoning.

Tatsuya Minami, President and CEO, PlatinumGames had this to say:

These new titles will contribute meaningfully to SEGA’s brand, while adding a new level of depth to the strategic portfolio of games in our library.

All the three titles are set for a release next year. The first one to hit shelves would be Madworld. A 3rd person action game for Wii, Madworld is expected to be a unique title. It employs a black and white style, reminiscent of graphic novels. The battle would take place on the streets and all the weaponry will be available out there.

Infinite Line will take place on the handheld device DS. This exclusive role playing game will have players battling it out in the outer space. The complexity of the game is amazing with over 200 characters and 150 spaceships on offer. Already Infinite Line is being floated as the most complex RPG on DS till date. The final title is Bayonetta. This action game will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360. It is being created by Hideki Kamiya and is promised to be stylish and cinematic. Wait for more announcements from this partnership in the coming days. We’ll keep you posted.
