Finally, division of Vivendi Games, Sierra Entertainment has announced the plans of developing Ghostbusters - the Video Game, which is based on classic movies and is quite popular among audience.
Ghostbusters, the Game is collaboration between Sierra Entertainment and Sony pictures, which allows players to join the team as it ghost haunts its way across Manhattan.
The game is also featured original cast from the classic Ghostbusters films, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and creating a unique experience and game-play environment to authentically recreate the unusual period of time. Ernie Hudson who previously played Winston, and Annie Potts who played the crew’s receptionist, will also be featured in the game.
According to the company, players are equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets and hunt. With the game, players can fight and capture a wide range of supernatural villains in a funny and frightening battle to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague.
Currently, Terminal Reality is developing Ghostbusters for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC, while Red Fly Studios is handling the development for the PlayStation2, Nintendo DS versions and Wii. It is expected that the game will be release by September 2008.
