Video games in particular and gaming consoles in general have come a long way since the good old days when Mario used to just bounce around happily collecting gold coins and jumping over dander. I suppose we owe the advancement to technology and also imaginative minds that made virtually every mediocre movie into a game. Now I can understand when you make a game out of either Super Man or Spider Man, but to make a game out of 'Sin City' is something that is a bit unexpected.

The makers of the game of 'Sin City', Red Mile Entertainment, announced that it has entered into an agreement to license the Unreal Engine 3 from Epic for use in the Sin City video game. The announcement surely has got plenty of people excited and I really mean that. First, though I'm still not able to really understand what kind of a game would be conceived from the movie. I could take possible guesses but then I do not wish that my views be rated R, so I'll spare the guesses.
But what this really means for the game is that it would be powered by one of the best and most technically advanced engines on the market and would give a very real feeling to the game. In more straight forward terms, I suppose 'the art of seduction would get so real that it would seem unreal'. Wow, I suppose the company can use that as a tag line. I hope they pay me for it. Anyway coming back to the issue on hand, even the president of Epic Games seemed very happy with the entire deal as he said that they have been Frank Miller/Sin City fans for a long time and are pleased that their technology will be a key factor, and they are confident that they're going to make a great game with it.
Now, no surprises there; there are many who would proudly claim that they are Sin City fans. So what is in this deal for all us players? We probably will get realistic models of Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Alexis Bledel. I guess that is indeed a pretty decent deal.
