This fall Jamaican Bobsled team invades your living room courtesy a funny little title announced by SouthPeak Interactive yesterday. Sled Shred will hit Wii with all the accompanying fun of downhill slides. Players would be racing downhill with and against the Jamaican Bobsled team on a variety of surfaces including tubes, discs, toboggans and bobsleds, all on a quest to enter World Winter Games. Richard Iggo, SouthPEak’s Marketing VP, said:
We are very excited to bring this unique racing experience to Wii with Sled Shred. A sledding game is a natural fit for Wii owners, and we can’t wait to see everyone using their natural body movements to steer their sleds down those slopes!
With over 10 different snowy courses to race and Story and Multiplayer mode on the disk, neither can we! Wii Balance Board is supported for a more consistent gameplay. At the end of it all, one question persists: What’s with Sled Shred (not that I don’t dig it), why not Cool Runnings?
