The French game publisher Ubisoft has announced that an upcoming game 'for current and next-gen consoles' based on champion snowboarder Shaun White, will be one of the first moves into it foray in the 'extreme sports' genre.

This year's Winter Olympic gold medalist in halfpipe, and past winners of many laurels in both halfpipe and slope-style snowboarding at ESPN's X Games, White will now work with Ubisoft to develop a snowboarding title based on his personal unique style.
He said;
I'm stoked to be working with Ubisoft to develop a video game that captures the thrill of snowboarding like no game has done before. I'm a huge fan of Ubisoft games like Prince of Persia, so I'm excited to be able to combine what I love about snowboarding and gaming into an experience for everyone to enjoy.
