Tetsuhiko Yasuda, MD, Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has said that Sony expects to ship over 100 million PlayStation 3. But the bombshell came when he also said Sony may work with Microsoft in the future!
Sony has shipped over 100 million PlayStation 2 and PlayStation consoles each, with Taiwan and Hong Kong accounting for 10% of its PS 2 sales in Asia.
Anyway, we had been expecting Sony to work with MS in the future on combating piracy. However, the surprise came when Yasuda said that Sony doesn't see Xbox 360 as its competitor and may jointly develop games!!
