After so many speculations, finally SCE UK MD Ray Maguire has confirmed that Sony has intentions to release a redesigned version of its PSP gaming handheld.

Speaking at the nationwide launch of Sony PSP in Education initiative, Maguire informed that the current PSP is just the ‘first iteration’.
Maguire further added that the redesigned PSP handheld will be a bit smaller and lighter in weight as compared to prior one.
The new redesigned version of the PSP will come with no change in its display screen.
Sony launched PSP somewhat three years back in 2005 in Japan and since then no patch was deployed to the handheld, so this time, accepting a call-for adaptation, Sony has finally decided to redesign the PSP. Let’s see when Sony finishes its inventive work over its PSP!
