Sony is again coming back up with its new design of Sony PS2 with integrated power supply for under $100. The new unit will incorporate the power supply into its housing and allows Sony to manufacturer the product very inexpensively.
Currently, the Sony is selling the PS2 $129.99 and the new white SingStar PS2 bundle is selling for $149.99. Sony has already reduced the cost when they want to the slim PS2 couple of years ago. The newest PS3 does not support the PS2 games.
Last week pS2 has celebrated its seventh anniversary, during which time it has sold over 120 million units worldwide. The PS3 who have a PS2 game library will still have a PS2 standing around.
