scda_52Ubisoft recently announced its forth edition to the Splinter series video games named Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent. The game title was originally se fro release in March 2006 but Ubi called for more time than for some more updations in the title. One more announcement that Ubi had made in favors of the latest title was its availability over the Xbox 360, PS2, Xbox and Wii. Dictating the previous declaration Ubi said that the title will also be available over Sony’s next-gen platform PS3.

Double Agent has seen all the launches around the globe in the running year but if we talk about the PS3 launch the game title will be launched in March. The EU Sony fanboys would certainly be glad with the latest proclamation as the European gamers will be having a dual treat since the PS3 launch has also been scheduled to March 2007.

Commenting on the latest game title Ubisoft’s Boss Yves Guillemot said that the dynamic title Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent has already become a best-seller and has set a new standard for the Splinter Cell series and expecting for the greater affinity in near future.

Both the game developer and Sony would be hoping for the excellent performance on the part of new Stealth-based title and no doubt the title will also help pulling off PS3 console out of retailer stores.
