Will Wright's latest delivers an incredibly diverse game that appeals to casual gamers and the core alike. We're off to a great start moving into the holiday season and believe Spore will deliver a platform of creativity for gamers of all stripes for years to come.
You may ask, 'but how come it's such a hit after just a couple of weeks after release?' Well, the answer to that is because Spore hit sales of more than 1 million and there have been contributions of more than 25 million creatures. Incredible!
I haven't personally played the game, but I was among those who watched the first few hour-long game play videos whilst the game was under development. The game simply astounds you with the amount of flexibility it gives you. Thus, I must say that although these huge sales figures are surprising, they were still very much expected!
