So what if EA Maxis’s Spore was the most downloaded PC game last year? It was still a complete waste for many afflicted souls. It is, therefore, gladdening news that Spore will be getting four expansions quite soon. The first one of these, “Galactic Adventures” has been announced by EA for June 23. More than just a content pack, Galactic Adventures brings a lot to the table, adding new dimensions to Spore’s gameplay. It allows players to create missions for others to play in the space stage and also allows them to beam down to planets. This pack will also bring in a separate branch of Spore to play in: Space Captains. All this is confirmed by a new trailer from the publishers EA. The pricing of this expansion pack has not been announced and remains “TBA”. With other expansion packs in line you better gear up to create your own species, and with Galactic Adventures, to send them across space capturing all that gets in your way. Video after jump.
