I have long been addicted to Football Manager Series, so it’s good to know that the new version i.e. Football Manager 2008 will be out by the end of this year - not only that, Sports Interactive has a next-gen version in the pipeline as well. The developer informed that by introducing the series to the Sony’s portable platform PSP, the game would also be coming to the Xbox360 sometime next year.

PC and Mac versions of the title are due out before this Christmas, so the Xbox360 iteration may appear in Q1 of 2008. Talking to the mediapersons, Miles Jacobson, boss at Football Manager Developer Sports Interactive, informed that as the game is making its way to one of the most intuitive console, they have introduced a new feature ‘Match Flow system’ to make the gameplay more appealing.

As in the original game, some people complained that matches are a little bit dull and less realistic; hence, the new update comes with a few screens fetching match previews, team talks, opposition player instructions so as to keep you in touch with what’s going on in the match.

As per reports, the Xbox360 version might not dawn soon, however, we can see the PSP version coincide with the launch of PC & Mac versions.
