Star Trek, a science fiction franchise has been updated with the next title in the same lineup dubbed Star Trek: Legacy that was unofficially announced on January 13th 2006 but for Xbox 360 and PC platform. Bethesda Softworks, the publisher of the game title has recently announced the release of the title in the North American where the title will be available for access on the retailer stores. However the suggestive price of the title has not been announced.

The launch day for the title on to Xbox360 is set on Dec. 12th, 2006 in North US and on 15th Dec. in Europe. Other titles in the same lineup are Star Trek: Encounters for PS2 and Star Trek: Tactical Assault for PSP and Nintendo DS platforms that have made their premiers onto their respective platforms on 12th and 24th Oct, 2006.
