Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter has revealed that Nintendo DS’s successor might be released soon and take Nintendo to new heights. It is also believed that the new product will have to be unveiled depending on the sales statistics of the existing Nintendo DS. Japan could see the debut as DS isn’t that popular there. Meanwhile, Nintendo is doing very well in business and has an operating income of $1.1 billion. Much of the DS units manufactured will be sold in US and Europe. The new product however may have better features when compared to the existing DS. Details about the features weren’t revealed though.
