Be it gamers of diverse age-groups or prolific developers, casual games have acquired an esteemed place in their hearts - the love bug has struck again as after developing thousands of console games, Take 2 is disposed to work on casual games. To turn its thoughts into reality, the developer has established a studio named called 2K Play that will be casual games concentric.
As part of the new establishment, the company also announced that it has signed a licensing deed with Nickelodeon that includes Nick Jr. preschool TV hits such as Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, etc.
This is not for the first time when Take 2 has dissected its team (origin of 2K Sports) to develop some more lucrative titles like All-Pro Football, NHL, etc, and this time again the company has divided its team to lay some landmarks in the casual gamin division.
Hopefully, newly founded label dedicated to the casual gaming phenomenon will explore casual gaming sphere to new limits and dish up some good gaming stuff in near future.
