Despite recording some recovery in recent months notwithstanding the tense time with litigation and uncertainty, Take 2 as expected has shut down Rockstar's Vienna studio on Thursday. The news first leaked out in one blog maintained one Rockstar game designer Jurie Horneman. This will result in 100 job losses. However, the management says employees will be offered packages as per the Austrian Law. Other job opportunities will also be created for them either in Rockstar or Take Two.

Both Rockstar and Take 2 denied commenting on the record. A company spokesman however has blamed 'the challenging environment facing the videogame business and our company during this transition'.
