Take-Two and the FTC have finally come to an agreement on what the FTC can have. Take-Two claims that all the federal snooping is leaving their employees distracted and working up a pretty big cost to the company. The agreement limited the access to witnesses and information which the FTC can view. The agreement also eliminates the problem of going into court and answering in front of a judge why they aren’t complying with a subpoena and civil investigative demand by regulators. Although this is a step up for T2, EA has just increased the deadline again to give the FTC more time to review their offer. If I’m not mistaken, this is at least the 3rd time they’ve increased their offer. I believe this is a terrible decision on the part of EA. They won’t profit if once they buy T2 out, all the fans leave because it is now in EA’s hands. Sorry EA, you aren’t going to ruin this company.
