Japan’s Weekly Jump has heartening news to report this week. The Tales series is set to go multiplatform with several titles in the making for different consoles. So the formerly Xbox 360 exclusive Tales of Vesperia is in line to get a PS3 port, Tales of Grace is planned for the Nintendo Wii, and Tales of VS will be seen on the PSP. In essence, therefore, every console owner can now claim to have a genuine Tales title up his sleeve. Of course, one could always see this one coming. Anyway, details about any of these titles are scarce as of now. We do have some rumors of at least one new character – named Patty Fleur – in the Tales of Vesperia. Tales of VS on the PlayStation Portable looks like an attempt at a brawl-game in a 3D environment. It seems a direct rival of Dissidia: Final Fantasy and offers 4-player fighting mode.
