Namco Bandai is delivering a treat for the owners of Sony’s handheld. The publishers have confirmed that Tekken 6 will get a release on PSP. This means that the game is not exclusive to PS3 and Xbox 360 as was believed earlier, instead Namco has confirmed that PSP will get a taste of the fighting title this year itself. Another tasty twist to this news is that rather than being a mellowed down version, Tekken 6 on PSP will actually have additional features. Web is rife with reports of additional stages, items, ad-hoc multiplayer mode over wireless, and ghost data feature (as in fighting against the character data of another player after downloading the same). Still no details of when Tekken 6 PSP takes birth. It is, however expected to be released along with the PS3/360 versions in autumn this year. IGN was the first to break this bit and the handful of screenshots that they have secured promise a good enough port for the PSP.
