The Amazing Race
Real life relationships, journey around the world, big cash prizes! These and more have been perfect recipe for the acclaimed reality series The Amazing Race. And now the hit TV series will form the basis of a video game. CBS and Ludia have announced a partnership that will deliver this frantic race on to our gaming consoles. The seven-time Emmy Award-winning, The Amazing Race will join the list of other television-to-game-ports by the same company; The Price is Right for (PC) anyone. The game will be supposedly released in chorus with the show’s 14th season. Alex Thabet, Founder and CEO of Ludia, says:

The heart-pounding adventure, around-the-world competition and postcard worthy settings of ‘The Amazing Race' are perfectly suited for video game adaptation. We are thrilled to add such a high-energy, suspenseful franchise to our slate, and we will infuse those key elements into a highly social, team-based multiplayer game that unites duos in cooperative game play to compete against rivals.
So the game would be a multi-player affair much like its real-life counterpart and players would be challenged worldwide with a series of tasks, detours and roadblocks. Good enough for me.
