Battle-crazy gamers can display their heroics on the web in a new online multiplayer game named Autobots vs. Decepticons The Battle for the AllSpark that recently debuted on Transformer: The Game Site. The game site has been launched by Activision, under license from HPG, the licensing division of Hasbro, Inc. The game (T-rated) is based on the Steven Spielberg-produced and Michael Bay-directed film Transformers which will hit the big screens worldwide on July 4. To play this game, you have to sign in as an Autobot or as a Decepticon. game_2196

Autobots are protectors of the Earth and the Decepticons are the destroyers of the Earth. In this action-packed game that involves a whole lot of duals, which is where you get to earn points and your team, players of both sides have to battle it out to take control of the Earth. Every week prizes are in the waiting for players with the maximum number of points. The side that wins gets control of AllSpark and in addition to that the side gets exclusive access to certain sections of the game site.

The Transformers: The Game website gives fans a unique and interactive way to experience the Transformers universe. Fans will become part of a global community where they can join forces with other players, chat live with Transformers fans, as well as watch and engage in battles to capture power of the AllSpark.

Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, PS2, PSP, and Nintendo DS versions of the game are scheduled to be launched shortly after the release of the feature film. But there will be variations in the ratings: the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PS2 will have T-rating whereas the PSP version is yet to be rated. There will be 2 versions of the game for the Nintendo DS - Transformers: Autobots and Transformers: Decepticons and these games will have an E10+ rating.
