2K Games at last has released a trailer for The Darkness on PlayStation3 and Xbox 360. Adaptation seems to be the flavor these days. Either from book to a movie, movie to a comic, from comic to game and so on. Most of these titles, however, fall flat within a release of the month. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with adventurous Starbreeze Studios, the creators of the highly praised title ‘The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay’. The firm once again has come up with an astonishing game called, ‘The Darkness’. This is a first-person action-adventure title, which is based on the original comic book series.



Like most of the adaptations, ‘The Darkness’ does not seem to create its own story by deviating from the original masterpiece. Starbreeze is sincerely adapting its story from the “Resurrection” series, which was written by Paul Jenkins.
