The game develop EA launched a game The Godfather: The Game, last year onto the Xbox, Xbox360, PSP, PC and PS2 and did an indifferent job. So the game developer decided to expand its franchise to other two remaining next-consoles named PS3 and Wii.

The game developer has brought The Godfather game to the PS3 and Wii in a bit different appearances. The PS3 version of the game comes as The Godfather: The Don's Edition that comes with Corleone Expansion Pack also with some added new gameplay and missions while the Wii version is titled The Godfather: Blackhand Edition that holds an enhanced Black Hand control system that makes a good use of the PS3 SIXAXIS controller while playing across the included Shipyard and Rail yard transportation hubs for the player to explore and exploit the game.

Wii version does also make a good use of Wii-mote to help accomplish players achieve their goals.
Both the next versions of the game are available in market for $59.99 and $49.99 (PS3 The Godfather: The Don's Edition and Wii The Godfather: Blackhand Edition respectively. The game is M-rated by ESRB.
