Nintendo has certainly proven their dedication towards their young fans and are showing even more support by teaming up with Starlight to create a customized version of their Fun Center for bedridden hospitalized children. With the use of the Wiimote, the children will now get the chance to play games in the hopes of making them feel less stressed out and afraid of being monitored and treated. Starlight and Nintendo's aim is to make the child's experience at the hospital feel as pain-free as possible.

The Fun Centers are equipped with a Nintendo Wii & Wiimote, a Sharp AQUOS LCD HD TV and a DVD player. The Wiimote was added for easier accessibility, especially for children who have physical disabilities.

Nintendo is certainly proving themselves as being caring for their young fanbase, and not just out to make a quick buck. They are expected to make 1250 Fun Center units this year. 500 of those units will be donated to hospitals by Starlight.
