THQ's fiscal year 07 Net sale up by 68%

The gaming industry business is on boom these days. All the console manufacturers as well as title developers in the gaming industry are pilling up their business total very rapidly. Few days before we talked about the Nintendo's business that is currently leading manufacturer amongst the console developers. Microsoft also presented a satisfactory show regarding their revenue generation this ongoing year otherwise it was bagging a huge loss, for what Xbox 360 sale is quite responsible.

Now it's the turn of THQ to come out with great show. Two or three days before it revealed its initial financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2007.It announced the groundbreaking stats saying that it has bagged a net capital of 68% for this financial year. THQ is more expectant about the running financial results. THQ credits its two hyper titles Saints Row and Company of Heroes for the huge figures which were launched during the second quarter leading to the gigantic trade.

THQ's fiscal year 2007 second quarter net sales jumped up to 68% i.e. to $240.2 million that was dwarf sum $142.7 million last year. The title Disney / Pixar tie-in Cars as well is responsible for the great success of THQ. Including Equity share returns the company reported a net revenue of $12.6 million, or $0.19 per diluted share for current fiscal year's Q2. If we exclude the equity investment then on a rough evaluation, th4e net income was $16.4 million.

Till Sept 30th .2006 net sales had reached the figure huge $379.0 million that was $300.7 million last year, showing an increase of 26%.

THQ reportedly said that fiscal year 2007 first half net income is $518,000 and looking forward for $925 million - US $975 ($0.95-$1.05 per diluted share) million mark.

THQ's CEO Brian Farrell applauding the company says that THQ's terrific Q2 outcome shows the power of our balanced mix of owned properties and games based on world-class brands.

The official said that they have still many titles in the pipe line for their gamers all over the world that includes WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007, Cars (Xbox edition), etc that will support Wii too.
