After Nokia, Cisco and Xbox and PS2 controller lawsuits Fenner is once again in news for lawsuit. This time the outrage is the same but the victims are a bit different i.e. gaming world's three great combatants named Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo who have been sued by Fenner Investments for breaching with Low-Voltage Joystick Port Interface for what it holds patent.

Fenner swaggeringly alleges that all three gaming console developers have exploited its patent in their controllers and have damaged to the patent filing company by infringing the patent in their respective controllers.
The technology is used in the joysticks or ports that connect joysticks to other devices.
As told above, Fenner has already the sued Cisco and Nokia for a method and apparatus for managing a communications network for mobile users which later was dismissed.
However, for no (6,297,751) Fenner is claiming to hold the patent for the Low-Voltage Joystick Port Interface actually is a design crafted by Lucent Technologies in 1998 and the reason behind claiming patent for the other's creation is perplexing.
If this turn out to be true then it may have a far reaching affect on game developers.
