Actually, the story is that over half a million gamers spent the past weekend trying out NCsoft's Guild Wars Factions, that's an average of six hours each.
This was an invitation-only event by NCsoft who is launching the game on April 28. Guild Wars Factions is a sequel to the original Guild Wars that has proven to be very popular in Asia for its Asian-themed characters, weapons and monsters.
The difference between the other smash-hit MMORPG World of Warcraft is that it put more emphasis on group combats and have very little offering of interest in solo quests.
The will be available for $50 and there wouldn't be any monthly fees like World of Warcraft.
