Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, has announced release date for Saber Interactive’s groovy shooing title, TimeShift. The game has been scheduled for an October release; more precisely, on October 30th for the Xbox360 and PC following PS3 launch in December.
Being in development for so long, the game has finally received a launch date for all three platforms it supports. The pre-order campaign featuring an exclusive playable character for the multiplayer mode is likely to kick-off at chosen retailers across the US this week.

Amidst FPS tow, TimeShift story begins as modern-age scientists have begun to work on time travel. Antagonist ‘Aiden Krone’ travels back time using the alpha suit and never returns where he creates a rampant anarchy with ruling the whole world. Meanwhile, an unidentified protagonist is commissioned to create a military time travel suit known as the ‘beta suit’ and travels back in time to stop ruthless procession of Krone.
With a stout multiplayer experience, gamers can bring in use unique powers to stop, reverse, or slow down time online with up to 16 players battling it out across seven game modes. In addition, gamers can customize various modes using over 60 options with a total of 14 multiplayer maps to choose from.
European release dates are yet to be announced, hope wouldn’t be too different from the US ones.
