Too Human: Norwegian Mythology is an RPG that is soon to be released for the Xbox. In the game, the Norwegian gods come down to Earth to protect mankind from an onslaught of monstrous war machines. You take the role as Baldur who, like all the other gods, use cybernetics to appear more human. The cybernetics actually gives you powers of agility, strength and much more. At one point you can have a spider as part of your armor and allow it to detach and fight along with you. You are able to choose from 5 different classes that all have their own special abilities.
In Too Human, you are also able to use customizable weapons, dungeon crawl, and skill tree progression along with item hunting. This actually kind of makes you think of Diablo 2 with the powers, dungeons, custom weapons, and skill tree. Although they are different games, we could see some very obvious similarities other than the ones I pointed out above.
Also, another thing you are able to use for this game is the Xbox Live feature. You are able to go online just like Diablo and compete ‘quests’ and no matter where you are in the game, people can join in and out. This will make for a better game allowing mix class ‘parties’ to help defeat even the toughest enemies.
Come August 19th, we will see a massive rush for this RPG since there aren’t many like it and it will most likely make the best selling list of the year. Only coming out for the Xbox, it will have some trouble getting there but I’m sure, in the end it will make it.
