Toro moves from horror films to horrific video games

Guillermo Del Toro, the maker of scariest movies in Hollywood, is now going to 'let all hells loose' in the virtual world of gaming. Toro's new venture called as Sundown is all about developing a video game that would depict the destruction in the Judgment Day. The only difference here is Zombies would spread the horror, instead of the typical 666 villains. As per available facts, Toro has collaborated with Terminal Reality, home of the BloodRayne franchise to produce the video game for the next-generation consoles.

The game is targeted towards developing the survival skills of the players in challenging situations. As per Toro:

We want to create a real beginning, middle and end to the game and to each set piece of the game too. I want to make some of the atmospheric elements in the game very, very scary.
Toro does not stop here; he actually visualizes the future of media set in video games and movies. Well as that might be, too far, we can actually sit back and wait for the game to get released by the time we have the Xbox 360 and PS 3 to grace all other games lined up for the E3 Expo.
